The Prince’s Trust is the UK’s leading youth charity, helping to change thousands of young people’s lives every year.
This is exciting opportunity to lead our relationships with existing and new public sector funders, working as part of a strong Statutory Fundraising team. The successful candidate will secure income from diverse public sector sources to support unemployed and disadvantaged young people.
You will be based at our Head Office near Liverpool Street station in London. The role will require some travel as you lead on building partnerships across London and some areas of the South East. You will also work closely with colleagues across our South region, within a strong team of Public Sector Managers based across the region, and liaise closely with a range of internal stakeholders including national Fundraising teams and Operational colleagues.
The Role:
- Building on and growing funding partnerships across the public sector to develop income streams that will enable The Prince’s Trust to support more young people.
- You will lead on relationships with public sector funders at all levels and across multiple organisations and funding streams including: Local Authorities, Regional Bodies, LEPs & EU funding as well as specialist services such as Health, Housing and Regeneration.
- A focus on policy-led Business Development as well as strong cultivation of existing funders.
- Strong influencing and communication skills are a must as the successful candidate will be representing The Trust at all levels with Public sector partners.
